If humans evolved from monkeys, then why are there still monkeys?

You do not understand evolution. The theory of evolution by natural selection does not propose that humans evolved from modern monkeys. The last 150 years of research in multiple scientific disciplines proves conclusively that human beings and modern monkeys had a common ancestor. That is why there are still monkeys.
